The Problem: A large hotel chain had separate handbooks for field employees and corporate office employees. They wanted to combine the two documents into a single handbook that encompassed the needs of and policies for all employees. Additionally, they wanted to alter the overall tone of the handbook to be more friendly and welcoming.
The Solution: Using Microsoft Word tools, the two documents were combined, reorganized and reformatted, and the language updated to reflect the mission and vision of the company.
